If you live in the mountains of Colorado and are looking for internal medicine and cardiology services, Dr. Kim Radway is available to help your pet.  She is board certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and has a Certificate from the Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Ultrasound.  She is currently a candidate for certification with the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society. Rocky Mountain Veterinary Ultrasound specializes in providing diagnostic imaging of the abdomen and heart to help determine if there are any abnormalities present. Some general practices provide ultrasound services, but there is a clear difference in the level of results when you compare them to the level of training and experience Dr. Radway has in ultrasound.

Advanced diagnostic ultrasound has become a standard of care in veterinary medicine and can non-invasively produce results unequaled by any other diagnostic medium.  The results are immediate and the information obtained can greatly enhance the relationship between the general practitioner and client. The benefit to these services is the continuity of care your pet receives by remaining under the care of your family veterinarian while adding that extra level of expertise that only a specialist can provide. Most diagnostics (blood work, x-rays, etc.) will be performed by your family veterinarian and then Dr. Kim Radway will perform and provide the interpretation of the ultrasound.  All communications will continue through your family veterinarian to provide seamless care.

Just a few of the diseases and conditions we can help to diagnose include age-related heart disease, congenital heart disease, thoracic tumors, abdominal tumors, gastrointestinal disease, liver disease, gall bladder disease, kidney disease, adrenal gland disease, stones in the urinary bladder and kidneys, and pregnancy.  Our prices will be much lower than a referral hospital, and we will examine your pet at your regular vet, where both of you will be more comfortable.

At Rocky Mountain Veterinary Ultrasound, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.
